D.A.V College Managing Committee, New Delhi plays a vital role in conducting various activities to spread awareness among masses about moral and social issues to bring a positive change in the society. Keeping this vision in mind, the Committee decided to launch a nationwide awareness campaign on “No Nasha Nation” to combat and eradicate the drug menace in the northern states and gradually expand across the country. As a part of this, D.A.V. College for Girls, Yamuna Nagar organised No Nasha Nation Havan campaigns under the insightful guidance of honourable, Padamshree, Dr. Punam Suri, President, D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi and Mr. Yogi Suri , National President, Arya Yuva Samaj at different places to create awareness among the public about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse. The initiative aimed to promote a *drug-free society by spreading the message of health, discipline, moral values, and responsible citizenship.
Through the sacred Havan and awareness activities, students, teachers, and members of the community came together to take a collective pledge against drugs and other forms of addiction. The programme emphasized the importance of “Say No to Drugs” and encouraged young people to choose a healthy, productive, and meaningful lifestyle. The initiative reflects the commitment of the DAV institution towards social welfare, youth empowerment, and building a Nasha-Mukt (drug-free) nation.
