Gandhian Studies Centre was sanctioned to D.A.V. College For Girls under the 11th plan scheme of EPOCH making social thinkers of India by UGC in August 2010.
Objectives of Gandhi Studies Center
- Spreading the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi to students, teachers and community.
- Creating awareness on social dimensions on peace and non-violence for communal harmony among various stakeholders of the society
- Motivating students and teachers to undertake research on prevalence of Gandhian Ideals in the community
- Spreading the ideas of Gandhiji in reconstruction of society on moral and spiritual foundation
- To propagate social and political ideas of Mahatma Gandhi and other great leaders of indian freedom movement ro students And other members of The society.
