The Legal Literacy Cell of D.A.V College for Girls strives to make young girls aware of their legal rights. It empowers them to fight against Gender Discrimination and injustice in Domestic and Social Life. It educates them about their rights, benefits and privileges guaranteed by Social Welfare Legislation and to identify the problems of their fellow citizens in the neighbour hood.
Lectures by the Eminent Lawyers and by the Eminent Personalities are organized on regular basis on important everyday legal issues. Throughout the year the Legal Literacy Cell of College organizes the following activities so as to create Awareness among the young minds.
