Sewage Treatment Plant

To protect the health of community and to supply water that is aesthetically desirable, treatment of sewage is required. Water treatment is a process involving different types of operations (physical, chemical physicochemical and biological), the aim of which is to eliminate and reduce contamination or non-desirable characteristic of water. The objective of STP is to extract pollutants, remove toxicants, neutralize coarse particles, and kill pathogens so that quality of discharged water is proved to reach permissible level of water to be discharged into water bodies or for agricultural land. STP of our Institute in to produce an environmentally safe fluid waste stream (or treated sludge) suitable for disposal only, without danger to human health or unacceptable damage to the nature.
