Department of Sociology
Sociology is a discipline in social sciences concerned with the human society and human social activities which deals with the social institutions and social relationships, which helps students to shape their lives.
Sociology helps in studying society from the micro(individual,family,small groups) to macro (Societies,Global level, Movements etc.) level. The department offers it at U.G. level.It is not necessary to have an early exposure to it to study it at a higher level .Department of Sociology was established in 1987in the college.
