Kaushal Kendra Courses

Kaushal Kendras are being set up as community skill parks focused on rural youth with world-class training facilities for Language Lab, Digital Library, Assessment and Counselling Centre, and Multi Skill Centre with video conferencing facility for skill training in various sectors. The Language lab will impart Functional English for different levels from students to workers.

The Kaushal Kendras resources include Assessment & Career Guidance Cell, Digital Library, Language Lab and Multi Skill Centres, making it a community hub focussing on all realms starting with assessment of candidate’s existing skills, providing helping hand to access vast knowledge resources, building self-confidence by improving proficiency in different foreign languages and providing placement linked training.

The Assessment and Career Guidance Cell of Kaushal Kendra will help each person to identify their right aptitude. The assessment is done with the help of an online scientific aptitude tool and base on the result generated and by taking into account the socio – economic background of the candidate, career guidance is provided by qualified personnel.

The high – end Digital Library, tied up with world e-Library offers digitised authenticated content in almost all fields. Digital Library brings all books published across the globe at finger tips.

The Language Lab is the first of its kind in the country. The rural student community lacks good communication skills. This acts as a major hurdle to get good job opportunities in and outside country. The language lab in Kaushal Kendra is poised to help the youth obtain proficiency in English and other foreign languages.

Multi Skill Centres provide round – the – year placement linked practical training. Multi Skill Centres are being set up as skill training hubs focused on rural population where the students receive hands-on training in various technical and vocational skills which are designed to meet industrial requirements for employment in India and abroad. Based on the training curriculum aligned with the NSDC sector skill council, Practical training will be imparted and students will be benefited from PMKVY scheme upon assessment and certification by SSCs. Placement is ensured for successful candidates.
