9. Code of Conduct
(Regularity, Punctuality, Discipline, Attendance in tests, Behaviour). The student will be rated by the concerned teachers on the basis of above factors on the 5 pt. scale.
10. The students of B.A., B.Sc., B.Com-III will be selected on her achievements of the last three years and the student of PG Diploma, M.A., M.Sc., M.Com will be selected on her achievements of the best three years (for the students who graduated from the same college).
11. A student with multi-facet participation will be preferred.
12. A student can claim only one award.
13. The decision of the committee will be final.
MAHATMA HANSRAJ STUDENT OF THE YEAR AWARD
(For all students on the basis of 3 years performance)
As a tribute to a great Arya Samajist and educationist, Mahatma Hansraj who sowed the seeds of great DAV movement by setting up the first DAV school in 1886 in the memory of Swami Dayananda, DAV College for Girls Yamunanagar introduced Mahatma Hansraj Student of the Year Award from the session 2014-15. To inculcate his high ideals of “Learning, Piety and patriotism” and to promote the sense of social and community service amongst students, this award recognizes and appreciates their exceptional contribution to community service.
- Any student of DAV College for Girls, Yamunanagar is eligible for this award if she has made significant contribution to the spirit of community/social service. The student applying for this award must give an evidence of her excellence in social service performed by her
- The final selection will be made from a list of shortlisted students finalized by a community constituted for this purpose
