Main objective of Harit Haryana Abhiyan is to actively engage the students in overall environment awareness. The activities done under the abhiyan motivate the students and staff to keep their surroundings clean and green. Generating awareness about conservation of water by minimizing the use of water and its wastage is also the objective of this abhiyan. Other objectives are like composting cow-dung to use it as manure; encouraging the use of carry bags made of eco friendly material like jute, cloth and paper bags etc instead of plastic bags; creating awareness for celebrating festivals like Diwali and Holi in an eco friendly manner. Last but not the least, organizing tree plantation programmes regularly in the college as well as in the hostel.
