Internal Complaints Committee

In pursuance of UGC (Prevention, Prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions).Internal Complaints Committee exists in DAV College for Girls, Yamuna Nagar, to deal with the complaints regarding sexual harassment at work place.
The ICC’s twin functions are:
To hear and address complaints regarding sexual harassment at the institution and
To spread awareness about gender related issues and functioning of ICC.

• Who can approach ICC???

Any female employee(faculty, student or staff) can approach the cell in case of need.

• Definition of Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment includes any unwelcome sexually inclined behaviour, whether directly or indirectly, such as

• Physical contact and advances
• Demand or request for sexual favours
• Sexually coloured remarks
• Showing any pornography, or
• Any other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of sexual nature.
